Set Default Printer merupakan salah satu cara untuk menset printer mana yang akan digunakan yang menjadi prioritas utama yang sudah terinstall di komputer Anda.
Biasanya hal ini terjadi karena kita mempunyai banyak printer yang terinstall sehingga kita harus memilih printer mana yang akan di gunakan untuk mencetak, mungkin karena kebutuhan yang berbeda.
Untuk menset default printer pada komputer yang biasa kita lakukan adalah dengan pergi ke Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers, nah disinilah letak jenis printer yang telah tersinstall di komputer Anda, kemudan pilih Printer yang akan Anda gunakan dengan cara klik kanan dan pilih menu Set as Default Printer.
Selain dengan cara diatas kita juga bisa membuatnya sendiri dengan menggunakan bahasa pemograman vb6.

- Pada kolom List Printer pilih Printer yang akan Anda gunakan dengan cara klik kemudian tekan tombol Gunakan tombol ini sebagai Default, maka secara otomatis akan merubah settingan printer yang anda pilih sebagai default.
